The Biography
Meet Pawanjit Ahluwalia — paratrooper officer turned security and intelligence entrepreneur. Recognised expert in private security, investigations, and assessments with a career spanning disciplined service and global enterprise building.
Foundation: Defence Studies (Hons) from Poona University; Sainik School Kapurthala → National Defence Academy → Indian Military Academy → commissioned into the Parachute Regiment.
Military: 11 years as a commissioned officer; Weapons Training Officer at NDA; Above Average/Instructor grades across weapons, support weapons, Junior Command, Intelligence; awarded Sangram Medal, 25th Independence Anniversary Medal, Paschimi Star, Sainya Seva Medal (J&K clasp), and 9-year Long Service Medal.
Enterprise: 37+ years leading security, investigations, evaluations, and teaching as an entrepreneur. Chaired the committee that authored Qualification Packs and NOS for guards, supervisors, PSOs, investigators, CCTV supervisors, and officers for the Security Sector Skills Council.
Awards: Kautilya Award for business information; Lifetime Achievement (International Institute of Security Management); Leadership Award (Central Association of Private Investigators); Meritorious Services Award and Malcolm Thomas Award (Council of International Investigators, USA).
